Welcome to Morgan Pond Farm

Lloyd and Janet Morgan purchased the Walton property in 1968 with the goal of creating a nurturing focus for their family. Lloyd passionately shaped the land through tree planting, pond building, and various family projects. Each Spring his vision is renewed as we continue to be stewards of Morgan Pond Farm. We hope you are renewed in your own personal way as you enjoy the beauty of this rustic spot, nestled in the tall pines and rolling hills of upstate New York.

The farmhouse is privately located on 210 acres at the end of a dead-end road, with the original barn from the 1880s, and a small log cabin the family built in 1979. There are scenic trails around the hills and fields.

  • The house will comfortably sleep seven: One bedroom with a king bed, one bedroom with a queen bed and single bed, and a kid's room with a single bed and a bunk bed. There is also a pull-out couch in the living room.
  • The property offers one primary swimming pond and three smaller ponds. Most ponds have largemouth bass and sunfish.
  • There is good cell service by major carriers, and high-speed fiber-optic internet, no cable TV.
  • The area offers many local organic farms and activities. Please see the section on area interests on our website.
  • We welcome dogs, but kindly ask you to scoop any poops dropped in the immediate mowed lawns.
